Stand with Marlena (2022)

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Attorney General Dana Nessel did all they could to silence Marlena as her story was echoing around the country through conservative media outlets. They wanted her shut down and silenced for serving her customers food and protecting her livelihood. She was arrested on a pre-dawn raid by an overwhelming show of force by the Michigan State Police. Her right to due process was violated as she was held for 5 days in jail and fined fifteen thousand dollars for standing up and not following the health department's Covid-19 lockdowns orders.
