Rebel Princess and the Bodhisattva of Compassion (2022)

A young 17-year-old Asian American female aspiring writer and modern-day Los Angeles high school outcast who is emotionally abused in her family seeks to change her destiny through a story she writes about a rebellious princess in a mystical Ancient Kingdom who meets the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Kuan Yin. When the story starts to come alive and blend in with reality, she finds herself on a magical journey with Kuan Yin to search for the freedom she desperately wants away from a family on the brink of falling apart.
