'Thuruth' (Island) is the soulful depiction of a family's search for refuge and shelter in a society which had ostracized and shunned them for various reasons. In their desperate journey to find a niche for themselves they start losing everything they value the most. The film poises pertinent issues regarding the plight of people excluded by society and made refugees in their own land.
