A desolate highway. A disused gas station. Two survivors. At the end of the world. Darcus and Maya both seek refuge in each other's company after witnessing a massacre that marked the descent of humanity into chaos. Consumed with fear, Darcus draws a line in the sand around his gas station and refuses to step outside decreeing that there is no turning back for the human race. Maya is less cynical; she refuses to give up on people and believes that, at the brink of this change, humanity will prevail. One defined by fear, the other by hope; but both irrevocably dependent on each other as they search for their place in the new age, contemplating 'The Line' that separates them ... from us ...
