La batalla de Bailén recreada (2008)

July 19, 1908. A battle changed the course of history. The insurgent Spanish troops defeat the invincible French imperial army.It's first time, Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated in a pitched battle. All Europe takes as reference the feat of Bailen. The fight has begun. The research group "Living History Today" (UCM), analyzes in depth the military action of Bailen, exposes its fundamental political, social and cultural implications in the context of the War of Independence and describes the contemporary historical reenactment of the battle organized by the city of Bailen.
