Former Green bay standout Michael Montgomery was born with an obsession for football. At an early age he was surrounded by an athletic environment. His mother, Rosie Walker, was an Olympian, a hall of famer, and an "all time legend" in the Women's basketball Association. Montgomery's future seemed clear towards the NFL until he was diagnosed with a rare heart condition, Wolf Parkinson's White syndrome: a little-known, silent killer that has taken the lives of many professional athletes without age or gender limitations.
