Stone and Donkeys (2014)

Sylbee Kim has been reinterpreting the experience of mass media and pop culture industry including internet, and revealing the underlying politics. In this exhibition, Kim presents a new video installation entitled Stone and Donkeys (2014), which consists of three video chapters and an epilogue, accompanied by fat and plastic objects. The video appropriates the surface and the structure of video games as well as the literary motif of master and pupil.
