Réverénce (2000)

In 1992, Australian choreographer Graeme Murphy interpreted Nutcracker for the Australian Ballet. Australian teacher and choreographer Valrene Tweedie starred in the 1992, 1994 and 2000 seasons as the older Clara, an ageing Russian ballerina reflecting on her celebrated past. Valrene explains how the role of Clara has had some parallels with her life as an internationally acclaimed ballerina. Includes archival footage.
