The First to Do It (2017)

The life and times of Earl Lloyd, the first African-American to play in the NBA, is examined. The story follows Earl's childhood in deeply segregated Virginia to his first step onto an NBA court in 1950 Rochester to his witnessing of an African-American becoming President of the United States.
