Phoenix Mars Mission: Onto the Ice (2009)

A behind-the-scenes look at the Phoenix Mars Mission, from launch through the "seven minutes of terror" landing on the north polar plains of the Red Planet. After the successful landing, the scientific instruments on board examine the chemistry of the Martian soil, in hopes of finding conditions conducive to life.
