Beautifully Scary: Contemporary Music in America (2014)

This film explores both the founding and successive generations of composers representative of trends in contemporary music in America. Interviews with some of the greatest living American composers reveal the circumstances that shaped modern music in the 21st century, and the creative visions that have emerged from it. The viewer will be exposed to the innovative work being done, and it's importance to the fabric of modern American culture.
