The Promise (2016)

In 1915, during the last period of the Ottoman Empire, Michael is an impeccable medical student and Chris, an important american journalist for a news agency, is paired with the sophisticated Ana, a dance teacher. As the war rages, the passions between the three escalate into a series of conflicts. This epic historical drama directed by Terry George is warmly told, making it very enjoyable to watch, as well as having an excellent cast that enhances the emotions that the story provides.
