Salt & Water (2015)

The film is an allegory on the drying Dead Sea which is being used by unconstrained industrialists and has been abandoned by the official state of Israel for decades. It tells the story of the sea through a young teenager who refuses to leave and surrender to the fate forced upon her. Her father that abandoned her represents the state of Israel that abandoned the area and left it to dry.
