Lady Bird (2017)

Christine "Lady Bird" McPherson, a high school senior in Sacramento, longs for a life beyond her suburban reality. Her desire for adventure and her awareness of other worlds and realities collide with the limitations of her environment, such as her own mother. In order to break free from her perceived limitations and begin a new chapter in college, she must face unexpected growth and a deeper understanding of her roots.
