Akbar Dilmaj (1974)

Akbar, a telephone operator for a commercial company, is fired for listening to the phone calls of the company's president. Eventually, he becomes a tourist guide to a French reporter named Catherine, who has come to Isfahan to write a book on Iranian customs. Akbar's wife, who is worried about her husband's absences, pursues him and finds out. Things get worse when he brings Catherine to live with him and his wife at his sister's house. From bickering with each other, wife and sister join forces against the care free young western girl.
