Aquarius (2016)

Clara, a 65-year-old widow and former journalist, is the last resident of the Aquarius, a 1940s building in an upscale neighborhood of Recife. While all the other apartments have been sold to a company that plans to demolish and rebuild, Clara refuses to leave. The apartment, passed down through generations, is more than just a home - it holds her family's history. Determined to stay until she dies, Clara faces a relentless cold war to force her out, disrupting her daily life.
