-In Montreal (Canada), on a night when Christmas falls in the middle of Ramadan or Muslim Lent, the destinies of two Algerians converge momentarily to resurrect a past they thought they were rid of. Fleeing the house and any form of festivity under the pretext that the evening can be very lucrative, Amokrane, a cab driver, takes in Kahina, a young professional a little lost who is trying to join her ex-husband to get her daughter back. Amokrane recognizes in her his idol, a former pop star in Algeria, whom he thought was dead. The night and the cab will be the scene of the clash of their two dramas, of their two solitudes. In the rear-view mirror, Algeria resurfaces, intruding in all the silences, with its procession of shadows and pains that we thought were buried under the snows of Montreal.
