Beto, La Serie (2015)

Beto was intended as a Transmedia idea and offers several windows. We propose to include people with Down Sindrome from possible imaginary worlds that cohabitate with the real worlds. Currently arise new perspectives on social inclusion, however in practice it remains difficult to overcome certain barriers or "ghosts" in relationships with disabled people. Discrimination is not bad, in the case of a child as Beto must discriminate because treat him like a child like others would impose a hardship. This discrimination has not to do with segregation. We talk about discrimination as a way of be aware of each other's differences. A way to change our view to learn to coexist with these differences. The main intention of the Universe Transmedia Beto is to insert in the collective imagination the life of someone with Down Sindrome and exploring different possibilities of family life as door to new everyday, assist in the visualization of differences as a starting point towards the acceptance thereof.
