On the 20th anniversary of 17 November, 1989, a group of friends met at the workshop of puppeteer and film animator Miroslav Trejtnar. In 1989, we were students who participated in the Velvet Revolution. Gathered around a giant map depicting the main avenues on which the Revolution took place, we reminisced about the events of that momentous day. It turned out that most of us hadn't talked much to anyone about our experiences of that time. This unique, fragile moment of sharing memories passed without video footage or any other form of recording. Cameras were left lying on tables untouched - everyone felt that they would have disturbed the delicate flow of reminiscence. But we thought our memories shouldn't be forgotten. So we decided to meet at later anniversaries of November 17 and record our stories. And we wouldn't come alone, but with our children.
