Teenagers constitute an age group with specific needs. Sometimes they are tagged as "problematic" or "in a state of crisis". Far from those simplistic and irresponsible definitions, the junior youth educational program of the Bahá'í community of the Canary islands contemplates the human being as an essentially noble being, with limitless potential. This program is accompanying a growing number of teenagers so they are able to take their destiny in their own hands, and contribute to social transformation. Araitz, a Basque young girl studying Education at the university, travels to the island of Gran Canaria to have a direct experience about the program, to know its nature and meet its protagonists. Once back at home, Araitz will try to put into practice the things learned in Jinamar. The consequences of Araitz's initiative cannot be foreseen.
