Kilometres (2010)

A Latin American family struggles to adapt to a new life in Canada, as their own personal relationships begin to crumble under the weight of distance. Javier, a shy and introverted boy, refuses to let go of Veronica, a beautiful girl with whom he had a brief romantic relationship back home. Meanwhile, Daniela finds herself struggling, both with the English language and her own relationship, as her husband Alberto grows distant and detached from his family. Ultimately, both mother and son will have to face their own solitude and come to terms with their final decision: to return home or to stay in Canada.
