In the Fall of 1999, a film crew occupied the territory of Cinisi to make I cento passi, a film directed by Marco Tullio Giordana in order to tell the story of the life of Peppino Impastato twenty one years after his death by retracing his steps in his actual setting and reviewing the outstanding episodes of his brief existence.
