Krausz is a doctor of jurisprudence, whose wife was a small country tragedian in her maidenhood; getting into prosperity, after other years of marriage, he longs to return to the stage, where such a brilliant career awaited him. "Kings would have fallen at my feet." I could have been a queen - and now I'm a burgher - she says, while playing a Chopin melody on the piano. . . Now the scene is dim and the doctor falls asleep leaning on the piano. And the missed, loving kings come in dreams - already on the screen, of course. Also, for now, there is only one: the acorn king; the king of the acorns of the thirty-two-letter Bible, who doesn't talk about much in general: he claims the doctor as his own and when poor Krausz protests, he will throw Ítéli in prison to death. A hangman's ax is waiting for you. And as his head falls, he says: - Hab' ich das gebraucht?. The doctor turns to the king in horror: But what a horror. - the head of his master, Dr. Krausz, is already sitting on the king's neck. He starts running and running until he collapses. And that's where the dream ends. And when he wakes up, after a few magnificent scenes, he is completely disillusioned with acting.
