Camera

Camera is a film about a misunderstanding that develops between Damien and Mikey over a camera without any film inside. Damien (22), a Japanese immigrant with a sparse English vocabulary, lives in the humble apartment of Marianne (45), a woman with whom he has developed a loving relationship. After being sent out for groceries, Damien wanders the city, snapping pictures on an old Hasselblad with no film inside. Elsewhere in an alleyway, Mikey (20) shoots a man, completing his first professional hit. Damien comes upon this scene from afar and snaps a "photo", oblivious to what is actually happening. In a panic, Mikey sets out to recover the film, resulting in Damien bringing home more than just groceries.
