Storyline:  Set in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s, the film focuses on Stevie, a 13-year-old boy who spends the summer dealing with problems at home and having fun with a new group of friends. The film marked the directorial debut of actor Jonah Hill, who also wrote the screenplay for this story about the passage from childhood to adolescence, with a surprising direction and remarkable performances by the cast, including young actor Sunny Suljic.
