Inside a WW2 Prisoner of War Camp in the lead up to Christmas 1942, three Australian soldiers make a storybook as a gift for the children imprisoned in neighbouring Changi Gaol. Suspecting it contains coded messages, a Japanese General orders the book to be destroyed. Miraculously, the book survives and is now recognised as a National Treasure.
