Sthreepart (2015)

Sthreepart is a 40 minute Tamil short film, about an eventful Valentine's Day (and night) of a young married woman Durga. The story unfolds with an array of life changing events for Durga, which may or may not have been influenced by the women around her, including some she has not met in person. Amidst the chaos the film exposes various women's strikingly different takes on marriage, infidelity, trust, single mother parenting, vengeance etc., A meta layer to the film which is also woven to the main plot, gives the whole happenings a feministic approach from the POV of Indraja, a successful Corporate woman, played by Anupama Kumar. Sthreepart is presented in a non-linear screenplay to reason out the characters' actions throughout the film.
