The Evidence (2011)

Germany 1986: The stuffy school teacher Helga lives in an idyllic town near the Rhine. Recently, a new-built nuclear power plant nearby, began operation. During a bicycle tour, Helga finds out that the energy corporation is concealing details from the public: The power plant was built on a dead vulcano. In case of a next, even light earthquake, there is a danger of a nuclear disaster, which would snuff out the lives of hundred thousand of people. Single-handedly, the amateur-lawyer Helga starts a fight against the gigantic electric corporation. But soon, Helga is in fear of her existence. Politics and society are on the side of the corporation. When Helga discovers a further, dark secret about the power plant, she is threatened to be killed.
