The Wizard and the Commodore: Rekohu Chathams Islands and Old New Zealand (2016)

Chathams/Rekohu/Wharekauri an Island lost in time, New Zealand's furthest outpost, Dinosaur fossils, extinct Volcanos, and one of the South Pacific's forgotten cultures the Moriori people. On a break on the mainland THE COMMODORE of the Chathams Islands meets THE WIZARD of New Zealand. This is a story which could only happen on Islands at the bottom of the world. We examine the extreme history, the cannibalism, the genocide of a people, and how this effects a community of 600 marooned on an island in the remote South Pacific. In 2016 Lightning does strike twice - The Wizard and The Commodore.
