On a regular night out with his co-workers, Oscar is confronted with a bizarre request by a woman off the street and her two children. Oscar and his friends think it is a joke at first, but the persistence of the woman and her children quickly change his friends' opinion of him and trigger in Oscar a life-changing series of questions about the significance of their appeal.
