Imagine a world in which the 'zombies' of popular culture exist since the dawn of times and have become an integral part of our society. Imagine our society's worst vices in a world where the dead are used as slaves, pets or entertainment. Imagine a day in that society. Anchored in a parallel world, A Day In Society is a satirical drama focusing on 24 hours in the lives of various characters living in such a society. André, the middle class worker blinded by tradition. Anne-Sophie, his daughter, the rebellious student muffled by an abusive employer. Marjorie, a rich politician's wife whose only concerns are looks and wealth. Francis, her son, the young adult who questions his values, but is intimidated by his friends. Amanda, Charles, Louise, and all the others who also inhabit this sick society refusing to change. A Metaphor and critic of our present world, A Day In Society develops a complex canvas of clashing relationships where characters with dubious morality are governed by hypocrisy.
