The Indian Cowboy: One in a Billion is the story of home - grown Indian country music singer Bobby Cash, who plays himself in the film. From India to Australia, the viewer is taken from Bobby's hometown in India to Tamworth, Australia. The documentary charts Bobby Cash's experience in the Tamworth Country Music Festival, NSW, where he has been invited to sing while a team of cameramen follow him around. The shooting is all realty show style and it follows Bobby Cash arriving in Tamworth, an unknown who takes the Festival by storm and becomes it's unlikely star. We also meet with Tamworth Country Music Festival's Founder, Mr. Hoedown's son, Lawrie Minson, and with the legendary Smoky Dawson, Tania Kernaghan, Jimmy Little, Phil Emmanuel, Ross Wilson and a host of others from the music industry. The tall, dark and handsome stranger wins friends and fans not only because of his exceptional musicianship but also for his obvious honesty and integrity.
