On a late summer night, Shira Levin (28) and Andree Hayat (30) are returning from their first date at a party. Andree is driving recklessly: he's singing and drunk. Shira fears for her life and wants only to get home safely. Andree, parking in front of her building, wants her to stay with him and turns on the charm. Andree, drunk and tired, suggests that Shira invite him up for a cup of coffee. She politely refuses, but Andree begs her, saying it will help him overcome his drunkenness. Only when Shira gets him to promise that it will be only for coffee does she agree. A neighbor sees them, and Shira, fearing for her good name, withdraws her consent. She enters the lobby and Andree drives drunk. An unexpected twist during that fatal night will forever change her life as she is overwhelmed with remorse and regret. Based on a true story that tormented Tzoreff - Markuse, the film's scriptwriter and director, for over 30 years.
