The Missourian Candidate (2019)

Jason Shaw is an agent in a cutting-edge CIA program. Current mission: Dropped in Afghanistan with a flock of sheep with the cover of Fardad Aziz the sheepherder. Wondering the Iran/Afghan mountains and countryside, Jason as been completely removed from Fardad's conciseness. As he blends in with his surroundings, he unknowingly picks up intel on Taliban activities in the region. When re-triggered, the conciseness of Fardad is extracted and Jason is put back in its place. Jason is then able to recall with complete clarity everything that has transpired within the last six months. His memories are then cross-referenced with GPS tracking data. But there is a problem: The personality of Fardad has overdeveloped and become highly willful. When brought in for debriefing, Fardad is defiant yet highly ignorant and not playing by CIA rules. Agents Frank Harvey and Dr. Axelrod cannot get Fardad to deactivate.
