Gabby Ross (Michaelene Stephenson) and her son Keevin (Julien Cash) establish an amateur news team in hopes to impress Gail Williams (Kristy K. Boone), an area reporter with whom Gabby shares an unreciprocated connection. Inspired by a real life Oklahoma woman who had to endure the aggressive social media backlash that followed after being unknowingly photographed dumping her dog.
