Hollis Frampton presents a series of scenes featuring different subjects, combined with similar variations of the same scenes to create a 'double' effect. A broken-down dock is shown in two different shots, overlayed so that both nearly match up, and two different docks are shown over one another. One woman sitting on the rocks becomes two, and the sandy dunes become fuzzy as their two lines almost make one. Shots of the waves are featured.
