Promise Land (2016)

In 1939 Poland, two Jewes, Ackerman and Laura are hiding into a small abandon wooded-clinic from the German soldiers while Ackerman hurt his leg. When they think they are safe for the night, two German carry a dying soldier who gets hurt from the Resistance break into the clinic trying to seek for a doctor, which Ackerman is mistaken for the clinic doctor. Ackerman recognizes the dying soldier is Sandulf who tries to kill him and Laura before. In order to protect Laura, Ackerman operates the surgery to save Sandulf's life. Few days later, while Ackerman and Laura are about to leave, Sandulf and two other soldiers come to the clinic trying to show their gratitude. Ackerman asks Laura to run away and he tries to hold up the German soldiers. Unfortunately, Sandulf found out Ackerman is the outlaw Jewish that he is trying to look for and he insists to kill Ackerman by himself. Sandulf pulls the trigger without aiming to Ackerman. Sandulf is trying to release Ackerman. Not knowing this fact, Laura mistakenly thinks Ackerman is dead running out of the bush and gets shot by Sandulf. Ackerman sees dying Laura losing out his mind and kills Sandulf. Ackerman carries dying Laura and runs away.
