Everyone on a high school football team goes to practice, works out, keeps their grades up, and dedicates hours of their teenage time into preparing for Friday nights where they play the big game, but only 11 athletes from a team can be on the field. College Park High School's 2014-2015 varsity squad has 59 athletes, 43 of them being seniors, meaning not everyone can play. One of these athletes is filmmaker Tyler Wright, who has broken his arm and is forced to the sideline. While here, he sees several talented athletes, including a sprinter with a full ride to Oklahoma State, a soccer star who has been on soccer's varsity since his 8th grade year, and a lineman who has broken the school record in squat lift twice, wasting their high school football career on the sideline. With only 2.1% of high school football players ever playing at the next level, Tyler Wright asks if the sideline squad really deserves more playing time than what they get.
