GÖKHAN SOYLU, Director and Producer of 'TIRAMISU'. Gökhan Soylu, the renowned actor in Turkey, completed his academic education and graduated from The State Conservatory of Anadolu University, Eskisehir, The Department of Performing Arts, Acting Major, along with his Master's Degree in 1997. He received 'The Best Director' Award with the plays he directed. He founded Meddah Film Production Company in January, 2014. In this company, he was the director and screenwriter of short films and internet-based video films. 'TIRAMISU', directed by Gökhan Soylu in GO THEATRE, attracted great attention among the audience. Gökhan Soylu made the screenplay of 'Tiramisu' to reflect the story through the movie screen for the purpose of reaching wider masses of audience by demonstrating the 'female' theme, broken lives drifted away from one another as well as female-focused problems still being experienced within the country. Without any support from a fund company, Soylu started shooting his film, 'Tiramisu' with his own crew and budget. He completed his film under strict time pressure, along with all the challenges experienced under film-shooting conditions during a restrictive time period.
