The Way Down to Your Belly (2016)

Spiritual moments in sterile suburbia. In a constant waking state, caused by pure boredom, detective Rob simply tries to find some sleep. Circling in a roundabout with his VW T1 1966, listening to meditation instructions, while being at a personal standstill. By the time the current and the former owners of the portrayed hippie-van meet up, this rather static road movie starts to mash up screaming hippies, pale crust-less toasts, rotating objects, gardens and graves and many other things that have always belonged together. While uniform circular motion leads them all into their cinematic nirvana.
