Atopia (2017)

Carl, an unextraordinary office worker, is the unknowing test subject of absurd simulations being carried out by aliens searching for 'the ultimate narrative' - a single sentence to shape reality. To measure the success of their simulations, they provide Carl with a love interest, Sally, who can't stand him (across infinite parallel realities anything is possible except one thing: Sally will never love Carl, it's an abomination of physics) a situation that can only be reversed by the ultimate narrative.
