Nicholas, 35 years old, wakes up to find himself on an empty street. Dishevelled and disoriented, he has no idea where he is or how he got there. Soon he sees Marina, a 15 year-old girl, standing against a wall, a Polaroid camera in hand. Oddly, she seems to know Nicholas. Intrigued by this girl, who appears to be comfortable in these unfamiliar surroundings, Nicholas agrees to go with her. Marina leads Nicholas to a peaceful but empty apartment where they sit together and talk. Marina offers him a glass of bourbon - served just how he likes it - and slowly he begins to open up to her. A deep discussion begins about life and love and regret. Sensing that Nicholas is finally ready, over the next few days Marina guides him on a journey to face the unresolved issues he has been running from his whole live. Will this encounter help him finally reach redemption?
