Necessary Conflict (2016)

This film shows the large impact and positive change young people can make by disrupting business as usual. A walkout from a scared religious space is led by students and the peaceful protest that happens after it in the lobby creates a safe space for dialogue. In this space students sheds light on issues that were previously brushed under the rug by administration. Students with a diverse range of perspectives speak about their experience during this transformative moment at the Brooklyn Friends School.
