Namaste, a Himalayan Journey (2016)

Dr Kate Yarrow, founder of UK-based charity Doctors for Nepal, goes on a life-changing two-year adventure, following some of the incredible journeys patients have to endure to reach healthcare in remote areas of Nepal. Kate uncovers the additional challenges facing doctors and patients after the devastating earthquakes of April 2015, and reveals the extraordinary personal journeys of the people she meets along the way. In October 2015, 6 months after the earthquake, Kate returns to Nepal to see for herself the devastation and destruction, and how this has affected access to healthcare for the people living high up in the Himalayas, in the most remote areas of Nepal.
