'Dredem' is a community short film project and the first-ever film headed by Magnox Productions (Director - Daniel Maslen). The project has brought together students, professionals and local organisations from around Scotland, including: 'Pendicle Productions', the 'Glasgow Acting Academy', 'Breadalbane Community Campus' and the 'Perth and Kinross Community Health Service'. 'Dredem' creatively reflects on the modern issue of depression, externalising and personifying the invisible illness through the plight of Kester Spence - a wannabe TV presenter who's hit rock bottom. After bumping into a plethora of eccentric characters and being taken on a journey through the very fabric of his mental being, Kester is given a choice: either rise above the traumas which have left him with nothing, or forever let his life be held in stagnation by Slight Inconvenience...
