In her reflective journey through the layers of Romanian society she re-experiences the noble qualities of its people and the richness of their culture. From her peasant grandmother Maria, who still farms the land at eighty four, to nobleman Constantin Serban Cantacuzino and the restoration of his beautiful hotel ROXI's charming journey is full of people, places, poetry and song.
