It's now easier for many people to come out to their families as gay than it is to come out as an atheist. In many parts of the world, being an open non-believer results in broken relationships, job loss, and even death. GODLESS is a documentary of the untold stories of "coming out" as a non-believer. The film explores why "atheism" is such a bad word. It does not debate the importance of religion.
