Indus Arts Council's feature film Roxanne tells the story of a young International student who comes to America to study political science. Ridding of her feudal family background, she begins to assimilate in the modern passionate voices of reasoning. She has convictions, loves everyone, and stands for their rights. Justin is no exception when she falls in love. Except he's the only son of a conservative senator from Texas. Life takes a decisive turn when one night, her hijab wearing Muslim roommate is assaulted on campus.
