Gifts from the Heart (2016)

Eric Piburn, 9, was born with a Congenital Heart Disease. He is in need of a heart and double lung transplant. But sadly, his family was told that his transplant is inoperable. After being told of Eric's terminal condition, his family starts a bucket list for Eric so that he can experience all that life has to offer. This documentary follows Eric and his family through a typical day living with the difficulties of CHD. This film also deals with the emotional realities people are faced with when a loved one has a terminal illness. And lastly, Eric's story shows the ultimate good in the human race as people rally around him to make his dreams come true. Please join us on this particular journey to fulfill Eric's wish to become a rock star. We will introduce you to the kid rock band, Beyond Chaotic, as they help Eric with his wish. You will meet some amazing kids. Eric, Dominic, Devon, Cade, Max and Alex will show us kindness of heart, compassion, and friendship. And they will teach all of us that anything is possible and all things are good through the eyes of a child.
