Work from Home (2016)

A seasoned con artist with access to hundreds of tax returns impersonates an auditor from the IRS and informs targeted victims about their potential refunds. She gains their trust and convinces them to disclose sensitive information to verify their identities. Once their information is verified, she corrects any discrepancies that might cause their forms to be rejected and informs each victim their refund will be mailed promptly.
